Then expansion into West Palm Beach a few years later with the focus on matchmaking. The reasons became pretty obvious to us; it was the high level of success but also the cost.
As it turns out there are some luxury matchmakers out there that just charge way too much. We all use the same method and for the luxury clients, the cost does increase for recruitment.
The difference in our cost structure is we know so many people here in South Florida that we don’t have to spend a lot of money on advertising.
Companies who are not based here must spend lots of money on ads since they don’t have a local presence. And companies who are just unknown must spend money since no one knows who they are.
Businesspeople call that CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost). That cost has a direct bearing on what a client pays.
Also, we are boutique matchmakers. We don’t accept everyone and limit the number of clients at one time.
For us, yes, it does cost money to find amazing women for our clients but not near as much as it costs all those companies that you see in the ads.
The other thing that we have come to realize is that a good portion of our clients have actually had a not so good experience with another matchmaker.
And let us say, we all work together and do share referrals, but we deliver a high success rate at a fair price.
A high price is a matchmaker who charges over $100,000. Unless the search is international, there is no reason to spend that amount.
So, guys if you want success and don’t want to overpay, we’re the obvious choice. Ads, supposed reputation, blah blah, really mean nothing if you overpay and are not happy.
